About Brooke

Brooke Harris

Meet Brooke Harris, the owner of Creative Counseling of Evergreen. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado as well as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Brooke enjoys using creative approaches in therapy with clients of all ages. Brooke is a Registered Play therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) with the Association for Play Therapy as well as certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Post Partum Support International. Additionally, Brooke is an EMDR certified therapist. Brooke uses EMDR therapy with clients across the lifespan. She is passionate about helping people heal from trauma. Along with these certifications, she also has specialized training in Infant Mental Health.

Brooke has a warm, non-judgmental style and believes in meeting clients where they are with unconditional positive regard. Outside of working, she enjoys trail running with her rescue dogs, hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. Location

Creative Counseling of Evergreen is located inside the Center at Evergreen, at 2942 Evergreen Parkway, across from the beautiful Elk Meadow Open Space Park. It is a short drive from 1-70, making it an easily accessible practice for those residing in mountain communities, as well as families residing in Idaho Springs, Golden, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Morrison, Littleton, and West Denver.

The Center at Evergreen consists of two buildings: Creative Counseling of Evergreen is inside the Nick’s Pro Fitness building. The office on the second floor, in Suite 206. The therapy space consists of a play therapy as well as separate offices for adult sessions, parenting support sessions, and EMDR therapy.
