Rebecca Webb is an LPCC who has been working at Creative Counseling of Evergreen since the Fall of 2021, first as an intern, and then as an employee once she graduated with her master’s degree in August of 2022. While earning her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University, Rebecca discovered that she had a passion for play therapy and elected to take every play therapy class that was offered. She found that the therapeutic powers of play work well with how the brain develops from the bottom-up and the inside-out. Having worked in early childhood education before entering the mental health field, Rebecca was excited to learn a therapeutic modality that works so well with the way children develop socially and emotionally. Since graduating, Rebecca has furthered her play therapy training by becoming certified in AutPlay Therapy, and has attended multiple APT-approved trainings, as she works towards earning her RPT™ credential.

While interning at Creative Counseling of Evergreen and Mountain Vista Psychology during her graduate program, Rebecca also discovered that in addition to providing therapy to children, she enjoys counseling adults and teens using a humanistic, person-centered, and strengths-based approach to therapy. Rebecca is warm and non-judgmental, and works to meet her clients where they are at and help them know that they are not alone with their difficult feelings. By fostering healthy & attuned connection, Rebecca provides a safe environment to process emotions and facilitate healing. Rebecca loves helping others see their strengths and discover ways to create more holistic well-being in their lives. Additionally, Rebecca is also EMDR-trained and am equipped to help individuals who have been through traumatic experiences in life.

When she is not at work, Rebecca enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband, 9 year old son, and their rambunctious Bengal cat, Eli.
